In 1924, the Commonwealth Solar Observatory was established on Mount Stromlo. Today, Mount Stromlo Observatory is the headquarters of the ANU Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics, and for 100 years, has been a world-renowned community of researchers exploring the heavens. Celebrate our 100th anniversary in 2024 with a variety of special events.
